As we prepare to receive revelation anew on Shavuot morning, we’ll spend the evening celebrating the inspiring and powerful Torah that has emerged from the miraculous birth of the State of Israel 75 years ago. We’ll begin with Ma’ariv and dinner (feel free to come anytime after dinner as well!) followed by learning and cheesecake with our rabbis.

Fruit Donations for Shavuot

On Shavuot, our ancestors brought the first fruit of their harvest to the Temple in Jerusalem as an offering to God. In honor of Shavuout, the summer harvest festival, we are collecting monies to purchase fruit to benefit the residents of The Bridge, The Homeless Recovery Center in downtown Dallas. Your donation to the Social Action Fund will enable us to make fruit deliveries on alternating Fridays throughout the summer to ensure both the unhoused and those transitioning to their new apartments receive fruit to ensure good health. Help us reach our goal of donating 49 boxes of fruit, one for each day of the Omer.
